The headline numbers

For a comfortable two-week island-hopping trip with nice resorts and internal flights, most of our customers spend roughly £1,800–£2,500 per person all-in. The longer, connecting flights push the total up versus Thailand, but the hotels and tours are superb value once you're there.

Flights

Return flights from London to Manila run about £700–£1,000 per person, almost always with a stop (Gulf, Singapore or East Asia) — a 16–18 hour journey. Book early and be flexible on the stopover to save. We always book flights within our packages with full protection.

Hotels

  • Budget — £15–£35 a night for guesthouses and beach huts.
  • Mid-range — £50–£90 a night for a solid resort.
  • Premium — £120–£350 a night for beachfront and island villas.

Palawan's premium resorts are where honeymoon budgets go and never regret it. We hand-pick these for our couple's package.

Island-hopping and food

Island-hopping tours run £20–£45 per person per day for group tours, more for private boats. Food is cheap — £1.50–£2 for a market meal, £8–£15 a head at a proper restaurant. Internal flights between islands (Manila–El Nido, El Nido–Coron) run £40–£90 a leg.

What our packages cost

Our El Nido & Coron package starts at £1,995 per person and the Cebu & Bohol family trip from £1,780pp — flights, resorts, internal flights and island-hopping all included.

Quick questions, answered

How much spending money should I budget?

About £40–£80 a day per couple, since food and drink are cheap — the island-hopping tours are the main daily extra.

Why are the flights more expensive?

It's the distance — 16–18 hours with a stopover versus 11½ direct to Thailand. It's the one cost that's genuinely higher; everything on the ground is excellent value.

Are there hidden costs?

Our packages include flights, resorts, internal flights and island-hopping, so the only extras are meals not included and optional tours. Call 020 7946 0958 for a firm, no-surprises price.
