Singapore has a reputation as expensive — and it can be, if you dine at five-star restaurants and drink in rooftop bars.
The headline numbers
For a five-night city break with a good hotel and the key attractions included, most of our customers spend roughly £1,300–£1,800 per person all-in. Singapore is the priciest of our destinations on the ground, but the value comes from the sheer quality of everything.
Flights
Return direct flights from London to Singapore run about £650–£900 per person — a 13-hour direct haul. One-stop options can save money. We bundle flights into our packages with full protection.
Hotels
- Budget — £60–£120 a night for a clean, basic room.
- Mid-range — £120–£220 a night for a solid 4★.
- Premium — £250–£600 a night for five-star and Marina Bay views.
Singapore's hotels are genuinely world-class; a premium stay here is a honeymoon highlight in itself.
Food and attractions
Here's the good news: hawker centres are still gloriously cheap — a full meal for £4–£7. Restaurant dining runs £20–£50 a head, and cocktails in rooftop bars £15–£25 each. Attractions are the other cost — Universal Studios, the zoo and Gardens by the Bay entry all add up, which is why our packages pre-buy the tickets.
What our packages cost
Our 5-night luxe break starts at £1,350 per person and the 7-night family trip from £1,450pp — flights, hotel, transfers and the big attractions all included.
Quick questions, answered
How much spending money should I budget?
About £50–£100 a day per person covers food, MRT and the odd cocktail — hawker centres keep the daily costs low.
Is Singapore really that expensive?
Hotels and drinks are, but food can be very cheap if you eat where locals eat. It's a city where you control the budget more than you'd think.
Are there hidden costs?
Our packages include flights, hotel, transfers and the stated attractions, so the only extras are meals not included and anything you add. Call 020 7946 0958 for a firm price.
