Two days isn't long, but Singapore is compact and efficient enough that you can still pack in a proper taste of the city.

Day 1: the icons

Morning at Marina Bay — the Merlion, the Helix Bridge, the skyline. Then into Gardens by the Bay for the Cloud Forest and Supertrees. Lunch at a hawker centre (chicken rice, obviously). Afternoon, walk the waterfront to the Merlion for golden hour, then stay for the Supertree light show at dusk. Finish with a rooftop drink overlooking the bay.

Day 2: culture & food

Morning in Chinatown and Kampong Glam — temples, shophouses, street art and coffee. Lunch at Lau Pa Sat or Maxwell. Afternoon at the Botanic Gardens or the National Gallery. Fly out in the evening, or add a third day for Sentosa and the cable car.

Make it easier

A weekend is doable, but a few extra days let you add the zoo, Sentosa and a proper beach afternoon. Our 5-night break gives you the full experience at a relaxed pace, with transfers and entry tickets handled.

Quick questions, answered

Is a weekend really enough?

For a taste, yes — but you'll be moving. It's the perfect add-on if you're passing through to a longer South East Asia trip.

What should I prioritise if I only have 48 hours?

Marina Bay, Gardens by the Bay's light show, one hawker-centre meal and one rooftop drink. Everything else is a bonus.
